Q: What do all these terms mean: synthetic,
artificial, cultured, cultivated, lab-grown diamonds?
A: All these terms talk about the
same product but define it from different angles. New Age
Diamonds are real diamonds and they are: cultivated
and lab-grown since the technologies and equipment
of the growing process are acquired by scientists in research
laboratory conditions and they are synthetic
meaning they occur not from the Earth's mantle.
We prefer to call our diamonds cultivated or lab-grown
diamonds simply because it best depicts the essence
of their creation as we have captured and recreated the forces
found deep inside the Earth in the lab.

Q: Is cultivated diamond
similar to CZ, Moissanite in any way?
A: Simulants like CZ, maisonette,
Fianit, Yttrium Zirconium Oxide (YZrO2) are not diamonds but
only simulants, that simulate visual effect of a real diamond.
We call New Age Diamonds' stones diamonds because these are
real diamonds with all the optical, chemical and physical
properties of natural ones. Read more

Q: What do Diamond Tests say about lab-grown
diamonds?
A: New Age Diamonds stones share
identical optical, chemical, and physical properties of natural
diamonds. They have the same brilliance, fire, luster, hardness,
toughness, and gravity. Diamond-tester confirms
this is a real diamond. A full grading certificate is available
for all New Age Diamonds stones above 0.5 C.
This certificate is issued by an authoritative, independent
Gemological Lab, GSI (Gemological Science International
New York). The certificate confirms the weight, cut, clarity,
color, symmetry as well as the polish quality of the diamond.
Above all, the stones receive laser inscription that confirms
the crystal origin.

Q: What colors are available?
A: Currently New Age Diamonds produces
loose diamonds of three main colors and
their various tints: Yellow-orangey, Light Greenish and Deep
Red.

Q: Is it possible that Cultivated Diamonds will lose their price with time?
A: Absolutely not. Cultivated color
diamonds will not loose their value with time. A very high
production cost and the complexity of the technological process
in creating these individually grown diamonds, keep their
numbers small and their quality and value high.

Q: Are
there any dangerous admixtures added to Cultivated Diamonds?
A: The process of diamond creation
in the lab is very similar to the process that naturally occurs
in the Earth’s mantle. The admixtures we add are similar to
those in the nature. Read more

Q: Why
should I buy a lab-grown diamond?
A: A lab-grown diamond is a real
diamond and will never stop being a luxury gemstone. Moreover
cultivated diamonds are produced in an environmentally friendly
HPHT method, not burrowed from a mine. Plus, they carry all
the characteristics of a real diamond to your door with a
less burden on the pocket.
